Tigers
looking
to bring
the
title
home

DETROIT
(Tell Us
Det) --
Since
their
last
World
Series
win in
1984,
the
Tigers
have had
a losing
record
in 16 of
the last
28
seasons,
including
10
straight
from '95
to '05.
Then
they had
that
magical
run in
'06 that
led to
this
resurgence
in the
last six
years.
All of
the ups
and
downs
have
brought
us here.
Four
games
and the
title
belongs
to
Detroit.
But, San
Francisco
isn't a
pushover
by any
stretch
of the
imagination.
Seems
like
they
have
been
living
on the
edge for
the
entire
postseason.
But,
with
clutch
hitting
and a
great
rotation,
the
Giants
are back
in the
World
Series
for the
first
time
since
2010.
Similar
roads
taken
has led
to one
place,
the Fall
Classic.
Many of
the
experts
are
taking
the
Tigers
and why
not? A
triple-crown
winner
and last
year's
MVP and
Cy Young
winner
on the
same
team is
borderline
unfair.
I'm
taking
the
Tigers
too and
not only
because
they are
my team.
It is
because
they are
THE
team.
Call it
destiny.
Call it
fate. I
call it
deserving.
