Second weekend brings good crowds,
great racing to Pinnacle Race Course
Valley Loot and
It’s a Ego Thing win individual $50,000 stakes races

TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Great crowds, great racing and great
weather was the mantra
of the weekend at the new Pinnacle Race Course in Huron
Township, Mich. More than 12,000 race fans attended the
three days of racing that ended Sunday.
The big winners of
the weekend’s two stakes races were Valley Loot, running
in the Larkspur Handicap on Saturday, and It’s a Ego
Thing, which ran in the Wolverine Stakes on Sunday.

at the opening weekend of North America’s newest
thoroughbred track, Pinnacle Race Course. An estimated
20,000 people enjoyed the new thoroughbred racing
facility that features a world-class track, up-close
seating, and patio and dining areas in what many
visitors enthusiastically call an ideal racing facility.

METRO DETROIT AREA IS BACK IN THE HORSE RACE
Opening day of racing at Pinnacle Race Course, is Friday,
July 18, 2008
HURON TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Opening
day for the inaugural season of racing at Pinnacle Race
Course, Michigan’s only thoroughbred race course, will be Friday,
July 18, 2008. The all new 320 acre Pinnacle Race Course(PRC) is
located just south of Metro Airport in Huron Township. The
new complex was developed by successful banker Jerry
Campbell, and his wife Felicia. Both are long-time
licensed horse trainers and owners of thoroughbred horses.

facility to celebrate its opening, experience the new track
and facilities, and watch more than 70 horses participate in
