National MS Society Michigan Chapter offers Hospitality
Experience
Southfield,
Michigan – According to a recent Detroit Free Press article,
the Corporate Hospitality Suites at this year’s PGA
Championship on the hallowed grounds of Oakland Hills
Country Club are sold out. All 39 “Chalets” on the course
and 5 private hospitality rooms inside the clubhouse have
been taken.
For late arrivals, or companies that still need room to
entertain their clients, the Michigan Chapter of the
National Multiple Sclerosis Society can help. The MS Society
is offering a private home for corporate or private
hospitality entertaining right at Oakland Hills. Overlooking
the fairways, greens and tee boxes on the south side of the
famous “South Course”, the 3,200 square foot home has
commanding views of the 10th green, 11th tee, 17th green and
18th tee from an elevated deck and a tented patio.
Various All-Inclusive Hospitality packages for individuals
and larger groups of up to 100 people per day are available.
Guests will enjoy buffet breakfasts, gourmet luncheons,
afternoon hors d’oeuvres, a premium bar and secure offsite
parking with shuttle service. Information may be obtained by
calling 800-FIGHT MS, #2 or visiting
www.nationalmssociety.org/mig.
Proceeds from the “Tournament Hospitality for MS” event go
directly to the Southfield based Chapter. Due to the unique
nature of this event, all money raised during the tournament
stays in Michigan, helping those affected by multiple
sclerosis and their families.
The tournament runs the entire week of August 4th through
August 10th, 2008. The top players in the world will compete
for the PGA’s most prestigious prize.
MS stops people from moving. The National MS Society exists
to make sure it doesn’t. We help each person address the
challenges of living with MS. In 2006 alone, through our
home office and 50 state network of chap¬ters, we devoted
nearly $126 million to programs that enhanced more than one
million lives to move us closer to a world free of MS, the
Society also invested more than $46 million to support 380
research projects around the world. We are people who want
to do something about MS NOW. Join the movement at
