TO NEW SUNDAY GOSPEL BRUNCH
Detroit’s award-winning, premier jazz restaurant and
supper club launches the best Sunday Gospel Brunch in
town featuring top choirs and praise teams from across
the city
DETROIT
– Seldom Blues, Detroit’s premier jazz restaurant and
supper club, is pleased to announce that it has
transformed its popular Sunday brunch into the new
Sunday Gospel Brunch weekly from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Mildred Gaddis of WCHB-AM will host the brunch on the
first Sunday of each month.
Each Sunday, the restaurant will feature live
performances from church choirs throughout metro Detroit
during the extraordinary brunch with five percent of the
proceeds from the day benefiting each participating
ministry.
The Seldom Blues Sunday Gospel Brunch will include a
variety of dishes, including waffles and omelets, fresh
fruit and desserts and is $34 for adults and half-price

is a fact people love to eat after church and we want to
provide a place for them to not only enjoy great food
but also continue to praise and worship,” said Frank
Taylor, CEO of Seldom Blues. “No where else in town can
people experience this type of gospel brunch on a
Sunday.”
Additionally, beginning July 14 through September,
guests who dine at the restaurant will receive
complimentary valet parking courtesy of GM. To

Print and fill out the parking voucher, and submit it
along with your restaurant receipt to the parking
attendant.
Seldom Blues is located in Tower 400 of the Renaissance
Center, home of General Motors World headquarters. With
convenient valet parking, Seldom Blues is open Monday
thru Saturday for lunch and dinner, and on Sunday for
brunch.
Seldom Blues, is metro Detroit’s only upscale jazz
supper club. The restaurant is located in Tower 400,
Level 1 of the GM Renaissance Center next to the
Marriott. Restaurateur Frank Taylor, former Detroit
Lions Robert Porcher III, noted musician Alexander
Zonjic, and executive concept chef Jerry Nottage have
teamed up to combine the right ingredients into one
venue – fine cuisine, excellent service and great music.
