(Tell Us

Vice
President
Joe
Biden is
using a
Labor
Day
rally in
Detroit
to
portray
President
Barack
Obama's
re-election
campaign
as a
battle
to
defend
the
interest
of
working
people
from a
Republican
attack.
Thousands
of union
supporters
marched
under
sunny
skies
Monday
in the
annual
Metro
Detroit
AFL-CIO
Labor
Day
parade,
leading
up to
the
rally.
Within

Wendell
Anthony,

in

Vice
President
Biden
connected
with the
crowd as
he named
the
working
American
as the
solution
to
rebuilding
our
country.
"Folks,
you're
the
reason,
you're
the
reason
that the
automobile
industry
is back.
Whether
it was
the wage
freezes,
the
plant
closures.
Folks --
Your
sacrifices
-- you
sacrificed
to keep
your
companies
open,"
Biden
said.
You took
a hit.
Because
of you
Chrysler
at the
Jefferson
North
Plant
just
added
another
1,100
jobs.
...
Because
of you
and your
productivity
the
combined
auto
companies
have
committed
to
invest
another
$23
billion
dollars
in
expansion
in
America.
Not the
Bain way
... not
in
Mexico
... not
in China
... not
in
Vietnam
but in
Detroit,
Cleveland
...
Right
here in
America!"
The
working
American
was in
high
regards
at the
rally,
Vice
President
Biden
supported
productive
workers
also
stating
his
opposition
to the

as
working
Americans
to be
the
problem.
“
Organized
labor
are one
of the
reasons
why this
country
is
coming
back.”
