Bringing the skills from the CEO of a major company and a corporate turnaround specialist he has used his first four years in office to fix many of Michigan's governmental problems along with solving issues that have plagued our local municipalities for decades.

In the earlier years prior to Snyder’s' arrival as governor, the State of Michigan was losing population and unemployment was running at one of the highest rates in the nation. but with Snyder at the helm, unemployment is down from its August 2009 peak of 14.2 percent to 7.2 percent this September, the lowest since the spring of 2008.
