23 year-old triple murder suspect arrested at westside home in Detroit

REDFORD TOWNSHIP, MI (Tell Us Det) - Over the weekend, law enforcement members of the Detroit Comprehensive Violence Reduction Partnership (CVRP) Task Force received a tip that the 23 year-old man wanted for the alleged triple fatal shooting in Redford Township, Michigan was hiding out in Detroit.

The CVRP taskforce set up surveillance on a home, located in the 8000 block of Normile. After several hours, members took the male into custody without any incidents. The suspect was released to the Redford Township Police Department.

Police in Redford Township say the suspect was arrested around 7:10 p.m., Saturday in Detroit by the joint task force and should be arraigned Monday. His name and the charges are being withheld until the court appearance.

In a statement, police say the attack happened Friday night and the suspect "was targeting at least one of the victims ... due to some type of prior association."

Killed were 48-year-old resident Shawn Dunlop and two Detroiters - 17-year-old Bryant Jones and 40-year-old Darrell Bulock. Dunlap lived in the house with her boyfriend and daughter and had been there about six years.
