suspect
arrested
at
westside
home in
Detroit

- Over
the
weekend,
law
enforcement
members
of the
Detroit
Comprehensive
Violence
Reduction
Partnership
(CVRP)
Task
Force
received
a tip
that the
23
year-old
man
wanted
for the
alleged
triple
fatal
shooting
in
Redford
Township,
Michigan
was
hiding
out in
Detroit.
The CVRP
taskforce
set up
surveillance
on a
home,
located
in the
8000
block of
Normile.
After
several
hours,
members
took the
male
into
custody
without
any
incidents.
The
suspect
was
released
to the
Redford
Township
Police
Department.
Police
in
Redford
Township
say the
suspect
was
arrested
around
7:10
p.m.,
Saturday
in
Detroit
by the
joint
task
force
and
should
be
arraigned
Monday.
His name
and the
charges
are
being
withheld
until
the
court
appearance.
In a
statement,
police
say the
attack
happened
Friday
night
and the
suspect
"was
targeting
at least
one of
the
victims
... due
to some
type of
prior
association."
Killed
were
48-year-old
resident
Shawn
Dunlop
and two
Detroiters
-
17-year-old
Bryant
Jones
and
40-year-old
Darrell
Bulock.
Dunlap
lived in
the
house
with her
boyfriend
and
daughter
and had
been
there
about
six
years.
