WHAT:
Celebrate
fall
along
the
beautiful
Dequindre
Cut at
the 3nd
Annual
HarvestFest
Detroit,
a FREE
day of
family
fun,
hosted
by the
Detroit
RiverFront
Conservancy
in
conjunction
with
Park
Solutions
and
sponsored
by
Electrical
Workers
Union,
IBEW
Local 58
and NECA
of
Southeastern
Mich.
HarvestFest
Detroit
will
feature
lots of
family-friendly
activities
including
hayrides,
kiddie
“tattoo”
artists,
bounce
houses,
a
princess
castle,
live
music,
pumpkin
patch,
games,
giveaways
and much
more.
Bring
the kids
and pets
in
costume
to
trick-or-treat
along
the
Dequindre
Cut.
Enjoy
classic
Halloween
movies
and
cartoons
outdoors
on the
big
screen.
There
will be
food for
purchase,
great
photo
opportunities
and a
visit by
Tigers
mascot
Paws.

Wilkins
St. and
Gratiot
Ave. in
Detroit.
Parking
is
available
in the
Eastern
Market
area,
including
in the
lots at
Wilkins
and
Orleans
or
designated
street
parking.

NEW
THIS
YEAR -
HarvestFest
Detroit
will be
a
collection
site for
Gleaners
and
families
are
encouraged
to bring
and
donate
canned,
non-perishable
food to
help
those in
our
community
over the
winter
months.
The
Gleaners
truck
will be
parked
at the
Wilkins
Street
entrance
to the
Dequindre
Cut in
the
Eastern
Market.
