DIETARY
ADVICE
ON
VARIOUS
MEDICAL
CONDITIONS
SOUTHFIELD,
MI -
Because
of
myriad
health
conditions—heart
disease,
pregnancy,
food
allergies,
digestive
problems,
high
blood
pressure,
cancer—many
people
require
special
diets to
stay
well.
Unfortunately,
due to
financial
or
practical
constraints,
many
people
cannot
get the
expert
nutritional
assistance
they
need.
Now,
Hiller’s
Markets
is here
to help,
launching
Hiller’s
Health
Tours, a
new
community
outreach
program,
staffed
by
nutritionists,
doctors,
food
specialists
and
other
medical
experts.
The
innovative
program
offers a
series
of free
tours at
various
Hiller’s
locations
to
highlight
the
dietary
needs
and no-nos
for
people
suffering
from an
array of
conditions.
Jim
Hiller,
CEO of
Hiller’s
Markets,
has long
been
passionate
about
helping
his
customers
stay
well.
His
stores
carry
the
largest
selection
of
gluten-free
products,
all
clearly
labeled,
out of
any
grocery
store in
the
country.
And,
more
recently,
Hiller’s
started
stocking
ample
low-salt
and
salt-free
products,
clearly
labeled
with
easy-to-identify
tags—prompted
by Jim
Hiller’s
own
battle
with
high
blood
pressure.
“I know
from
personal
experience
how
time-consuming
and
irritating
it can
be when
trying
to find
products
that
cater to
one’s
specific
health
needs,”
Hiller
said.
“Seeing
dietary
specialists
can be
costly
and
unrealistic
for many
people,
especially
in
today’s
economy.
However,
that
does not
mean
individuals
should
lack
dietary
knowledge
and
support.
So, I am
personally
inviting
the
community
to come
to
Hiller’s
Health
Tours
where we
will
provide
nutritional
advice
for an
array of
health
needs.”
