The DIA premiere event Fash Bash set to break fundraising records

By Angelina Czarnecki/Tell Us Detroit

DETROIT (Tell Us Det) - The Founders Junior Council (FJC), a young professionals auxiliary of the Detroit Institute of Arts, in partnership with Neiman Marcus have announced the return of “Fash Bash” after last year’s record breaking event. On Thursday August 16, at 7 p.m. The Detroit Institute of Arts will present Fash Bash, an annual fundraiser showcasing an evening of fashion, and the “who’s who” in metro Detroit.

Highlighting the night will be Neiman Marcus’s signature show “Art of Fashion” in the DIA’s Great Hall. The glamorous evening will also feature a pre-show cocktail party, and the post- show Paparazzi Party after glow celebration. Chairpersons for this must-attend event are Lindsay Cotton, Nicole Eisenberg, Beth Fisher, and Lauren Rakolta.

Tickets have been selling out fast, and it looks like last year’s fundraising records are going to be shattered. Proceeds will help support the museum, and allow it to continue showcasing high-quality exhibits for the community. Front row priority reserved seating has already sold out starting at $1,000 a couple. The “Prêt-à-Porter,” tickets limited to 220 individuals are available at $175 per ticket, and includes 7:00 p.m. arrival and open seating for the fourth and fifth row. If you plan on arriving “Fashionably Late” these tickets are available for $75 for 8:15 p.m party access.

“Fash Bash” tickets are available for purchase at www.dia.org/fjc or by calling 313-833-4005.
