DURING
THEIR
SEARCH
FOR A
NEW CAST
MEMBER
IN
DETROIT

daytime
drama
“Days of
our
Lives”
has
partnered
with
Gleaners
Community
Food
Bank,
Local 4
and the
MGM
Grand
Detroit
to hold
its
first
ever
talent
and fan
search
in
Detroit
on
Friday,
November
13th and
Saturday,
November
14th.
During
their
time in
the “D”
the cast
told
there
show
manager
they
would
not
leave
Detroit
without
a stop
and tour
of the
Historic
Motown
Museum
and
Hitsville
USA.
James
Reynolds,
who
plays
the role
of Abe
Carver,
mayor of
Salem on
the
daytime
series
said,
“When
you grew
up with
Motown
as I
did,
this is
a
tremendous
moment,
this is
like
going to
the
White
House.”
Nadia
Bjorlin,
who
plays
the role
of Chloe
Lane on
Days
said,
“Visiting
the
Motown
Museum
was
defiantly
on the
top of
our
list.”
Friday,
from
9:00am-7:00pm
the
talent
search
and fan
event
will be
held at
the MGM
Grand
Detroit
The
biggest
DAYS fan
will win
a trip
to
Hollywood,
California
with a
visit to
the
“Days of
our
Lives”
set.
Promising
actors
will
have the
chance
to win a
role on
the
award-
winning
show. On
Saturday
finalist
auditions
and
announcement
of
talent
search
winner
will be
made.
All of
those
participating
in the
search
will
have the
opportunity
to meet
some of
Salem’s
favorite
cast
members
including:
Bryan
Dattilo,
James
Reynolds,
Nadia
Bjorlin
and
Shawn
Christian.
Fans and
aspiring
actors
alike
are
encouraged
to come
take
part in
this
historic
occasion.

is
collaborating
with
Gleaners
Community
Food
Bank for
events
through
the week
leading
up to
the main
function
on
Friday.
Gleaners
is the
third-oldest
food
bank in
the I
United
States
and
their
mission
has been
to turn
surplus
food,
which
otherwise
would go
to
waste,
into
millions
of meals
for
hungry
people.
Those
involved
from the
show
will not
only get
to
discover
new
talent,
but also
have a
hands-on
experience
helping
the
Detroit
community.
All
participants
are
encouraged
to bring
a can of
food or
non-perishable
donation
to the
event on
Friday,
November
13th
