Detroit
Cheesecake
Bistro
will
open its
doors
this
Friday,
September
28, 2012
at 7:30
a.m. The
establishment
is
restaurateur,
La-Van
Hawkins'
attempt
to bring
back the
fine
dining
experience
to
Detroit
with
affordable
pricing.
The
restaurant
concept
came
from
Hawkins
and
partner,
David
Tomkin
seeing a
void in
the
Detroit
market
for
supplant
culinary
breakfast
creations;
it soon
expanded
into a
full
menu.
The
Bistro's
theme is
"One
taste
and
you're
ours. We
are
second
to
none."
The
company
expects
to
generate
approximately
$2-2.5
million
in taxes
for the
city,
and has
created
125
jobs.
The
Detroit
Cheesecake
Bistro
creates
the
ultimate,
affordable
dining
experience.
The menu
features
Detroit-themed
menu
items
and an
extensive
selection
of
breakfast/brunch
offerings.

and two
