  The City of Motor Cars and Super Stars host national tour of 'Lexus Uncorked'

DETROIT - Midtown Detroit lit up Wednesday night to the first ever, Lexus Uncorked. An elegant display of luxury cars and superstars. This tour, which has traveled to markets such as Atlanta and Chicago has found a great stop in the Motor City where attendees enjoyed a sampling of gourmet food, fine wine, music and Lexus displayed their (Luxury Coupe) LC 500 and the RX 350 (Luxury Crossover) which inhanced overall experience of the night.

This special event was supported by local Lexus Dealers - Meade Southfield, Meade Lakeside and Lexus of Ann Arbor, along with two African American owned restaurants: Savannah Blue and Le Crepe displayed a savory and sweet mix of delectable cuisine such as the Monte Cristo crepe and the Georgian Hummus and two African American owned catering companies: LoneStar Catering and Smokey G's BBQ delivered delicious menu items such as seared lamb chops with fresh basil and mint butter sauce, a soul food stir-fry, pulled pork sliders, macaroni and cheese with a side of beef brisket

The evening's host was Fox 2's Maurielle Lue, who introduced the chefs and guided guest through the evening. Special guest included former Detroit Lion, Robert Porcher, former Pittsburgh Steelers, Lamar Woodley, Sister Code owner, Marlin Wilson, BET Honors Recipient & Educator, Kwame Simmons, Risa Balayem, PR1 Communication representing Pittsburgh Steelers, Charlie Batch and James Harrison; Grammy nominated artist, Kem.

#Lexusuncorked and #experienceamazing were used by attendees when they uploaded event photos via social media. All in all, it was big fun in the Motor City!
