Beyoncé's return to Detroit with the 2016 Formation World Tour will benefit children of Flint

SAN FRANCISCO (Tell Us USA) - Beyoncé and the United Way are "partnering with the Community Foundation of Greater Flint to create a fund that will address long-term developmental, education, nutrition and health needs of the children affected by the Flint water crisis," the star's team said in a statement Sunday night.

A statement released by tour promoters Live Nation Entertainment reads, "True to her life's work of always giving back, fans will be given the opportunity to participate in Beyoncé's #BeyGOOD initiative supporting local United Way programs and the continued work surrounding the water crisis in Flint, Michigan."

Queen Bey, performed during the Super Bowl 50 Halftime Show where she joined Coldplay and Bruno Mars. They sang a very cool medley that included a great dance routine. Shortly afterward, a television ad announced the world tour. So far, Beyoncé has announced 22 concerts in North America and 15 in Europe.

This is her first tour since she teamed up with husband Jay Z for the On The Run Tour in 2014, and first solo tour since the Mrs. Carter Show World Tour in 2013. Nothing has been announced about opening acts. Check back, as we'll be updating this page as we get more information.

Ticket presales begin as early as Tuesday, February 9 at 10 AM local time for BeyHive Fan Club members, American Express cardholders, and VIP Packages. On Friday, February 12, presales begin for Live Nation and LN Mobile App codes. Tickets go on sale to the general public for some shows on Tuesday, February 16 at 10 AM. Keep in mind, each date can be different.
