open its
doors
for the
annual
city
wide
Good
Friday
services
on
Friday
April
18th.
Hartford’s
multi-cultural
service
offers a
very
unique
Good
Friday
Service
draws
people
from
throughout
the
community.
The
service
has
become
so
popular
that the
church
is
literally
filled
to
capacity
each
year
from the
main
sanctuary
to the
balcony
to the
lower
level.
It is
important
to
arrive
before
noon to
get a
seat.

welcome
everyone

Good
Friday
Service,”

Rev. Dr.
Charles
G.
Adams.
Come
join us
in this
powerful
series
of
sermons
that
explore
the
Seven
Last
Words of
Christ.”
Good
Friday
Services
at
Hartford
combine
inspired
scripture,
anointed
preaching
and
glorious
music on
each of
the
seven
last
words of
Christ
during
the
crucifixion.
Worshippers
from all
over the
city
come to
this
unique
service
of the
spoken
word
from
seven
outstanding
preachers
and the
sung
word,
Theodore
Dubois’
Seven
Last
Words
with the
Cathedral
Choir,
instruments
and
soloists.
Services
begin at
12 noon
and last
until 3
pm, the
hours
Christ
hung on
the
cross.
Christian
believers
around
the
world
hold in
deepest
reverence
this
sacred
period,
known as
the
Passion
of
Christ.
Rev. Dr.
Jeremiah
Wright
will be
one of
the
ministers
that
will
deliver
the
preached
word.
