will
highlight
the
auction
at the
11th
annual
National
Kidney
Foundation
of
Michigan’s
Kidney
Ball
which
will be
held on
December
5, 2015
at 6
p.m. at
MotorCity
Casino
Hotel.
Considered
on the
social
scene as
“the
most fun
black
tie
event in
metro
Detroit.”
With
over 700
notable
business
executives
and
socialites
gathering
to
support
the
organization
that
helps
the more
than
900,000
people
in
Michigan
with
kidney
disease,
and the
many
more at
risk.
Guests
will
experience
live
entertainment
from the
band
Fifty
Amp Fuse
along
with the
exceptional
MotorCity
Casino
Hotel
food
prepared
by
Executive
Chef
Scott
Stromer
and his
staff.

the
community
will

helping
the high
number
of
Michigan
adults
who are
affected
by
kidney
disease,
and the
many
others
at
risk,”

Foundation

evening

70% of
kidney
disease
is
preventable
and this
event
helps to
fund the
nationally
recognized
programs
we have
that can
help
prevent
the
disease.”
The goal
for this
year’s
Kidney
Ball is
to raise
$550,000
for the
National
Kidney
Foundation
of
Michigan’s
many
community
programs
and
services.
The
National
Kidney
Foundation
of
Michigan
was
ranked
the
number
one
charity
in the
category
of
diseases,
disorders
and
disciplines
in 2014
by
Charity
Navigator,
the
nation’s
leading
charity
evaluator.
This
year,
the
National
Kidney
Foundation
of
Michigan
earned
its
eighth
consecutive
4-star
rating
from
Charity
Navigator
for
sound
fiscal
management
and
commitment
to
accountability
and
transparency.
The 2015
Honorary
Co-Chairs
of the
Kidney
Ball are

Vice

Kidney
Ball is
