If the
2010
AutoGlow
can be
used as
a
barometer,
The
Children’s
Center
should
‘gear
up’ for
a very
good
year.
The
Westin
Book
Cadillac
Hotel
had on
its best
image as
guests
dressed
in their
formal
finest
poured
in to
continue
their
financial
support
to the
organization.
Music,
food and
enthusiastic
conversation
flowed
through
the
evening.
Debora
Matthews,
CEO,
recognized
and
thanked
all the
sponsors,
present
and
past,
for
joining
in the
recognition
of the
80th
Anniversary
Celebration.
The
Children’s
Center
focuses
on
empowerment
by
providing
therapeutic
programs
and
other
services
that
will
allow ‘…
children
and
families
to shape
their
own
futures.’
Ford
Motor
Company
shared
its good
fortune
by being
the
presenting
sponsor
for this
year.
Caesars
Windsor,
TEAM
Detroit,
DENSO
and the
Dow
Chemical
Company
continued
their
sponsorship
as well.
Many of
the
officers
and
directors
were in
attendance
with
their
families,
which is
an
indicator
that
they are
committed
to the
goals
established
by the
Center
in deed
as well
as
financial.
The
Children’s
Center
stands
ready to
meet as
many
needs of
this
diverse
community
as
possible.
They
welcome
visitors
to learn
more
about
the
organization
by
providing
tours.
Detroiters
continue
to give
generously
even in
times of
economic
despair.
We show
up and
gear up
for
movement
to the
top.
