CITY PARKING FACILITIES OPEN FOR FIREWORKS

The Detroit Municipal Parking Department (MPD) officials have issued a parking advisory for the general public for the annual fireworks display on Wednesday, June 28. Motorists are advised to observe posted parking restrictions. Parking violators will be ticketed, and vehicles towed.

To accommodate parking for individuals attending the fireworks, the Municipal Parking Department will open City-owned garages and lots. The facilities and prices are:

All rates begin at 6 p.m. Fireworks viewing is prohibited from any parking facility rooftop.
