DETROIT, April 2008 – Summer nights in Detroit will be hot, jazzy and full of soul for the Chene Park 2008 Concert Season. This year’s diverse line-up features the Wednesday Night Jazz Series, R&B Classic Soul on Friday nights and other special performances.

Chene Park proudly welcomes the Sheraton Detroit Riverside Hotel to their family of sponsors. The Sheraton Detroit Riverside evolved from the historical Hotel Pontchartrain into a premier high-rise hotel that has become the top choice for Detroit visitors. Detroit’s #1 Adult Contemporary station WMXD Mix 92.3 joins Chene Park as the sponsor for the R&B Classic Soul Series. WVMV Smooth Jazz V98.7 returns this season as the media sponsor for the 2008 Jazz Series.
