defines the urban spa experience with an offering of
unique spa adventures that can only be found at
MotorCity. Think massages on tables that resonate to
your favorite Motown sounds … the exclusive MotorCity
MUD bar that detoxifies and energizes … or a “party”
rain room where you and three of your closest friends
can spa together in style.
Our 8,000 square foot facility features dedicated men’s
and women’s Lounges that include thermal whirlpools,
large steam rooms, dry saunas, and rain shower
facilities. We offer 10 private treatment rooms with an
energized selection of massage and body treatments. Our
high performance facial technology is like no other, and
our expert finishing touches bring out our client’s
best.

the hotel (one floor below lobby)
• Separate men’s and women’s spa deluxe amenities
include:
o Lounge – Relaxing waiting area where guests can enjoy
spa refreshments and soothing music before and after spa

o Thermal whirlpools – Up to 10 guests may enjoy each of
these relaxing whirlpools
o Rain bench – A place for guests to rinse and relax
with individual temperature controls and swivel-jointed
overhead shower heads
o Raindance shower – swivel-jointed overhead shower head
with adjustable body sprays allow for a pleasurable
hydromassage in this standing shower

services consecutively (4 massage, 2 facial, 2 nail,
Rain Room and Couples Suite)
• Guests may completely customize their spa experience
by personally selecting their service, technique and
product used

Signature Services
• Our MotorCity MUD Bar is designed to detoxify,
mineralize and revitalize you. A selection of enriched
scented clays is available for self application or for
MUD wrap services.
• “D”TOUR Rain Room – exclusive access to a private
co-ed rain room provides an interactive and invigorating
way to spend spa time with up to three friends. Each
guest receives a warm MotorCity MUD application, then
rinse in the private rain room followed by an individual
warm lotion application.
• Couples Suite – ultra-private two-room couples suite
offers individual massage, exfoliation, couples milk
bath in illuminated hydro-therapy tub, partner-applied
MUD bar and Raindance shower for two. The 2-1/2 hour
experience finishes with MotorCity Music simultaneous
couples massages on our SO Sound resonating massage
tables.
• MotorCity Music Massage – Music has been used for
centuries across all cultures as a method to inspire,
uplift and relax. “D”TOUR combines the healing
properties of music and touch with this unique massage
performed on MotorCity’s exclusive SO Sound Acoustic
Resonance Therapy Tables. As the music plays, it
resonates through four patented transducers allowing the
guest to hear and feel the music tactilely. Guests may
listen to calm, soothing spa melodies, or their own
iPod/MP3 music selections to complete their body
treatment experience.
• “D”TOUR is proud to be the only regional spa to
feature CACI International Ultra technology, the most
advanced aesthetic system available. The ultrasound and
micro-current technologies erase skin imperfections
without trauma and re-educate and reposition facial
muscles while stimulating cell growth. The technology
allows non-invasive treatments such as ultrasonic
microdermabrasion and non-surgical facelifts that are
highly effective.

exfoliates with massage techniques

• Classic Facials include gentle steam, cleansing,
exfoliation mask, massage and conditioning. Upgrades for
eyes, hands, lips and neck are available. All facials
use SAMPAR products.

Nail
Services
• 2 private, full service nail rooms for manicures and
pedicures for both men and women. Both rooms have
individual ventilated tables and room ventilation system
for improved air quality.
• Classic manicures and upgrades include massage,
moisturizing and nail shaping.
• Spa Grade acrylic service includes acrylic application
with classic manicure exfoliation and massage services.
Staff
• The diverse “D”TOUR staff brings many years of
combined international experience in all techniques,
including sports/therapeutic therapy for a robust
experience, to healing and compassionate touch for
gentle services.

• Extended hours allow late arriving hotel guests to
