THE WESTIN BOOK CADILLAC DETROIT OPENS JOB RECRUITMENT CENTER JULY 14

DETROIT, MI – The Westin Book Cadillac Detroit will open its Recruitment Center on July 14 to fill an expected 250 positions. The 455 room hotel now undergoing a $200 million restoration will open on October 1, 2008. Jobs are available in accounting, administrative, banquets, engineering, food and beverage services, front office, guest services, housekeeping and security.

“Hospitality experience is preferred, but not mandatory,” said Westin Book Cadillac Detroit Director of Human Resources Diane Tunstall. “We expect that many people will be interested in working at this grand and historic hotel. We look forward to creating an enthusiastic and skilled staff to serve our future guests.” All new hotel employees will undergo an extensive training program prior to the opening of the hotel.

The Westin Book Cadillac Detroit Recruitment Center is located at 1226 Griswold in downtown Detroit, between State and Grand River Avenue, across from Capitol Park. The Center will be open Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The Center will close on Friday, August 29th at 3:00 p.m.
